CD Erath M01 - Marriage Records Volume A - F, 1869 - 1894.
Volume A, 1879-1877, was the plain ledger used following the fire that destroyed the courthouse in 1869. It has an index and is approximately 88 pages. Volume B, 1874-1880; Volume C, 1880-1888; Volume D, 1885-1889; Volume E, 1889-1891; Volume F, 1891-1894 all have an index and preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page. Many images were filmed crooked and much of the old ink has faded.
CD Erath M02 - Marriage Records Volume G - H, 1893 - 1900
Volumes G and H are indexed and have preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page.
CD Erath M03 - Marriage Records Volume I - J, 1900 - 1905
Volume I, 1900 - 1903; Volume J 1903 - 1905; neither have an index. Both have preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page.
CD Erath M04 - Marriage Records Volume K - L, 1905 - 1911
Volume K, 1905-1908; Volume L, 1908 - 1911; neither have an index. Both have preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page.
CD Erath M05 - Marriage Records Volume M - N (thru page 301), 1911-1917
Volume M, 1911-1914; Volume N, 1914-1917 (thru page 301), remainder of Volume N on CD Erath M05 (identical to Texas Archives records). Neither have an index. Both have preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page.
CD Erath M06 - Marriage Records Volume N (page 302) - Q, 1916 - 1929
Volume N, page 302 to end, 1916-1917; Volume O, 1917-1921; Volume P, 1921-1925; Volume Q, 1925 - 1929. None are indexed. Preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page.
Each CD corresponds with the records available on microfilm through the Archives. We have converted images of the records into high quality black and white .PDF collections. The images were edited to remove background clutter and to make them as legible as possible. As with all digital images, these are greatly influenced by the quality of the original. Due to age, faded ink, discoloring paper, poor filming, etc., some of the images will not be perfect.
We cannot guarantee that the image you need will be perfect or that you will find your family. These CDs are not searchable by name. However, many of the record books include an index at the beginning. We have added bookmark links every 50 pages to help you navigate.

CD Erath M07 - Marriage Records Volume R, 1929 -1936 Not indexed. Preprinted forms with 2 certificates per page. These entries are typed, but this CD is not searchable as the OCR could not read the file. This CD also contains Index to marriages 1925 -1946, by groom and reverse by bride.
